Thank you Pinkaboo. I’m honoured to be mentioned in the same sentence as Jules Bianchi. I checked out her web site and she’s certainly a very talented and enterprising photographer. Her cafe-shop in San Francisco is a brilliant idea. I wonder if it will work in Singapore? Bridal cafe anyone?

Hi Jay, thanks for dropping by my blog. Yes, I take a hands-off approach to wedding photography and I like to let my subjects “breathe” rather than to direct them to do this or do that. I’m not a fan of posing as you can see. Natural, spontaneous photography is my strength. It takes a lot of effort to anticipate what people are going to do next but the results are worth it as you can see.

Thanks for your nice comments. I find that most of the photos that make me or you go WOW are those that happen on the spur of the moment or by pure chance (and lots of luck!). That’s why I love real-time wedding photography so much. There’s no posing and you never know what you’ll get the next minute. It’s exhausting work but I know I’ve done well when I start smiling during the photo sorting process
