Wishing everyone much double happiness. A Happy Valentine’s Day and a Happy Chinese New Year!
I was on a real creative high during Thomas & Eileen’s wedding. Maybe because I had extracted a perfect espresso shot that morning or maybe because it was the Christmas atmosphere. Nonetheless I’m happy to present art masquerading as wedding photography.
Their wedding had copious lashings of the colour red, making it most appropriate to time this posting with 14 February.
Wedding date: Sunday, 6 December 2009
Venue: Cherry Garden, Mandarin Oriental, Singapore
Cheongsam: Custom made, Mazzario
Hair & makeup: Kenneth Lee
Solemniser: Mr Wong Yuk Fong, JP, PBM, PBS

It’s amazing the amount of care and attention that Kenneth Lee lavishes on his brides.

He makes you feel like a million bucks at the end of it all.

And just when Kenneth finished his work, Thomas walked in with a surprise bouquet for Eileen. The grin on her face says it all.

Power and form.

The hotel atrium as art.

Eileen’s cleverly designed outfit took her seamlessly from tea ceremony cheongsam to solemnisation gown with the help of a button-on dress attachment. Simply brilliant.

And just when they exchanged kisses during the solemnisation, Thomas surprised Eileen with yet another huge bouquet. What a sweetie!

When Thomas speaks, everyone listens.

Thomas & Eileen will make lovely, doting parents when it comes to their turn

What a hug!

Congratulations Thomas & Eileen! It was a real pleasure working with both of you for your wedding. I was really impressed how you came right to my doorstep, like immediately, to place your deposit. It told me a lot about what your day meant to you and how you wanted to remember it. So I’m very happy to reciprocate in kind with my work.
