Soren & Bodil got married last year in Norway. They’re returning home soon and they wanted something to remember the Emerald Hill neighbourhood that they’ve grown to adore over the past couple of years. Indeed while walking about at dusk there’s a hive of activity as maids take out their young charges to play and chat. Orchard Road hums with shoppers and traffic in the not-too-far distance.
Singapore brides will be interested to know that diamond engagement rings are not the norm in Norway. This was a little fact that Bodil shared with me.
Their home was decorated with iconic Scandinavian designer pieces. The whole colour scheme was woodsy and neutral just like, well, Scandinavia.
See-saws and swings dotted the neighbourhood.
